Disabling selinux without restart on CentOS


Do the following

# setenforce 0
To verify that the selinux has been changed from enforcing to permissive which will not block anything, but warn only

# sestatus
SELinux status:                 enabled
SELinuxfs mount:                /selinux
Current mode:                   permissive
Mode from config file:          enforcing
Policy version:                 24
Policy from config file:        targeted
